MIWoZ is a non-membership organisation with a two-tier structure. The Board of Directors is comprised of seven members including the Executive Director.<\/p>\n
The Board is the highest decision and policy-making Board of the organisation. The Board\u2019s role is to provide policy guidance and oversight to ensure that MIWoZ delivers its programming in an effective manner. The Board is also responsible for approving budgets and annual plans.<\/p>\n
Board Chairperson<\/strong> – Pati Mwase<\/p>\n Management <\/strong><\/p>\n MIWoZ\u2019s Secretariat is comprised of full-time staff who are responsible for program implementation. The Staff is headed by the Executive Director who is responsible for the day-to-day running of the organisation. With their different skill sets, the staff works directly with target beneficiaries and like-minded organisations to achieve its goal.<\/p>\n Executive Director<\/strong> – Hellen Mwale\u00a0is a dedicated Zambian Woman Human Rights Defender (WHRD) journalist with over a decade of experience championing digital rights, civic space and gender equality. Her work is rooted in a deep commitment to empowering marginalized communities, especially women and girls and holding power to account.<\/p>\n Project Officer\/ M & E<\/strong> – George Daka is a seasoned finance professional with 16+ years of experience driving financial strategy, operational excellence, and NGO program management.
